Ex-CVS Pharmacist Alleges Risks to Patients

The ABC affiliate in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania recently broadcast a story about Joseph Zorek, a former pharmacist at CVS who repeatedly reported and protested the directives by management to reduce staff hours and increase staff workload in order to improve profitability. These directives instead caused increased stress for the pharmacists, leading to errors in prescriptions that harmed the customers. As a result of the harassment, Mr. Zorek was forced out of his position. Mr. Zorek also reported these issues to the Pennsylvania state agencies that regulate pharmacies. Bernabei & Wachtel represents Mr. Zorek in his whistleblower lawsuit against CVS.
