Lynne Bernabei, Federal News Radio, Examine Sensitive Federal Security Clearances

Federal News Radio interviewed Lynne Bernabei about security clearance and related issues that affect federal employees and contractors. The U.S. Supreme Court recently denied the employee’s appeal of the Federal Circuit decision in Kaplan v. Conyers, et al. Lynne discussed the consequences of that decision for federal employees, even those who do not have or need security clearances, but who theoretically might have access to “sensitive” information in the workplace, and how that can be used as a basis to terminate their employment if they have any factor that might question their eligibility for access to sensitive information.
