Civil Rights Litigation Fellowship

As of February 2018, the Firm is no longer accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Civil Rights Litigation Fellowship. We encourage qualified applicants to submit applications for the 2019-2020 Civil Rights Litigation Fellowship during our next hiring round.

Position Description:

Our Civil Rights Litigation Fellowship lasts for one year, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent associate position during the fellowship. The Fellow participates in all aspects of litigation, from interviewing clients to assisting with trials, hearings and mediations. Fellows have extensive client contact and participate in case development and strategy. We also encourage Fellows’ professional development by providing time for Fellows to attend seminars and trainings and to seek out opportunities for publication.


Our ideal Fellow candidate has excellent research and writing skills, strong academic credentials, a desire to litigate, and a demonstrated commitment to civil rights.
