Al Haramain Appealing Terrorist Designation by U.S. Government

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit heard oral argument in Portland, Oregon, on March 9, 2011, on our client’s appeal of its designation by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, U.S. Department of Treasury. The hour-long oral argument was broadcast by C-SPAN, and was widely covered by the press, including the Oregon Public Broadcasting service, the Portland Oregonian, the Associated Press, and the Courthouse News Service.
