Zoe Morgan is an associate at Bernabei & Kabat. Zoe joined the firm in 2024 following a judicial clerkship with Judge Matthew Brookman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

As a law student, Zoe focused on internship experience. During her three years of school, Zoe worked on prison conditions cases with the ACLU of Indiana, criminal expungement petitions with Indiana Legal Services, individual representation of indigent clients with the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office, housing and gender discrimination matters with the Civil Rights Section of the DC Attorney General’s office, and pattern or practice police misconduct and prisoner civil rights cases with the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. She also interned for a federal judge, worked on the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies and as a research assistant to Professor Jessica Eaglin, and won brief writing honors in her school’s moot court competition.

Prior to law school, Zoe worked as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Homelessness for Salt Lake City, where she mitigated conflict and facilitated positive interactions between housed and unhoused city residents. Zoe has also worked in international development providing logistical support and qualitative and quantitative data analysis on a team working to increase the use of iron-supplements among anemic mothers in five different countries.
