Lynne Bernabei and Alan Kabat Contribute to Amicus Brief Against Trump Administration’s Travel Ban
Lynne Bernabei and Alan Kabat, on behalf of a dozen civil rights organizations, filed an amicus brief in both the Fourth Circuit and the Ninth Circuit, in support of the plaintiffs who are challenging the Trump Administration’s “travel ban” executive orders. Their brief argues that this country’s long history of stereotyping on the basis of religion has created a climate that leads to discrimination and violence against Muslims and other immigrants – acts that ultimately harm all Americans.
