Lynne Bernabei recently presented at the Fifth Transatlantic Conference organized by the Employment Lawyers Association’s International Committee and the American Bar Association’s International Labor and Employment Law Committee. Lynne discussed developments in compliance requirements and regulations in the financial industry and, in particular, those applicable to whistleblowers. The written materials, prepared by Lynne and Kristen Sinisi, discuss a variety of employment-law topics, including developments in bounty programs, high-end compensation, settlement agreements, extraterritorial application of U.S.-based protections, clawback and forfeiture provisions, and the use of confidential information in the pursuit of whistleblower claims.
