New Partner Announcement

Attorney Devin Wrigley

Bernabei & Kabat is pleased to announce Attorney Devin Wrigley as its newest partner, effective August 22, 2022. As a partner, Ms. Wrigley will continue to advocate for employee rights: helping employees in the areas of harassment, discrimination, whistleblower situations and other challenges.

Ms. Wrigley represents employees in both litigation and non-litigation matters involving discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, employment contracts, and other employment-related claims. Ms. Wrigley joined Bernabei & Kabat as a Civil Rights Litigation Fellow in September 2016, became an Associate at the firm in March 2017, and became a Senior Associate in March 2022.

In 2018, Ms. Wrigley played a key role on the trial team that earned an over $1.3 million verdict for our client on an age discrimination claim against American University in the District of Columbia Superior Court. She has represented many other Bernabei & Kabat clients at the trial and appellate court levels, including on the appellate team that successfully defended two whistleblower clients on a Ninth Circuit appeal in 2020.

Ms. Wrigley has been selected to the 2022 Washington, D.C. Rising Stars list for the second year. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Washington, D.C. are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Ms. Wrigley graduated with Honors from the George Washington University Law School in 2016, where she served as an Articles Editor on the Federal Communications Law Journal. In her last year of law school, she served as a Student Attorney in GW’s Public Justice Advocacy Clinic, where she represented low-income clients on employment, disability, and civil rights claims in federal and administrative courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. During law school, Ms. Wrigley also worked as a law clerk at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Lowey, LLP, as well as at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen, & Hamilton, LLP. Additionally, she interned with the Department of Education, Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Voice on the Net Coalition, the Recording Industry Association of America, and the United States Copyright Office.

Ms. Wrigley graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Clemson University’s Honors College in 2012 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Legal Studies.

Ms. Wrigley is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
