Our View on Nuclear Security: Asleep on the Job
In an editorial titled “Our View on Nuclear Security: Asleep on the Job,” USA Today highlighted the efforts of our client – whom the paper described as a “frustrated guard [who] surreptitiously videotaped several dozing colleagues” at the Peach Bottom nuclear power plant in southeastern Pennsylvania The editorial concluded that “In this case, the plant owner, the security company and the NRC all failed. It shouldn’t have taken a hidden camera to make them do their jobs.” Ironically, the camera would have been visible if the guards had been awake, as required in order to protect the security of this nuclear facility.
