Phoenix New Times Runs Three-Part Series on Whistleblower Police Officers

Bernabei & Kabat represents two Arizona police officers who were improperly disciplined after they raised concerns about how others were failing to do proper investigations of crimes. The Phoenix New Times published the first of a three-part series on these investigations and how the town mishandled the investigations and retaliated against the officers for their conduct in reporting these problems. The Phoenix New Times has continued its investigation of serious problems with the police department in Florence, Arizona, including problems identified by two of our firm’s clients. The paper has also reported on the retaliation that our clients endured as a result of their reporting problems. This series has appeared in three parts ( Part 1; Part 2; Part 3), with a follow-up article appearing this week.
