GWU Hospital’s Termination of Rabbi Tamara Miller

OCTOBER 16, 2009

The Washington Post and Fox TV covered GWU Hospital’s termination of Rabbi Tamara Miller, the hospital’s head of spiritual care, for having written about her experience in comforting the family of the Holocaust Memorial Museum guard who was allegedly killed by an avowed white supremacist. Although the Hospital claims that she disclosed confidential information, the family of the guard has confirmed that they “were glad that this viewpoint was put out into the world.” Bernabei & Kabat represents Ms. Miller in her request that she be returned to her position.
