On November 3, 2015, Lynne Bernabei did a Continuing Legal Education presentation at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, as part of the “Hot Topics in Employment Law” event jointly sponsored by the Federal Bar Association and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association. Lynne’s presentation was on “The Law Governing Non Competes (Bernabei and Hammerschmidt)”. She discussed the interesting issues arising from non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, which are often used by employers to restrict the ability of professionals and sales/marketing individuals from working for competitors.
